tab 1 - Tomes & Dyes only
tab 2 - spare armour sets for main character.
tab 3 - spare armour sets for secondary character.
tab 4 - random things, like superior salvage kit, EotN rep books, items being passed between character or to be allocated to characters.

(note: I try to keep spare armour sets in storage for characters I play to leave more space for drops in inventory).

as for inventory:
bag : 1st space for ID kit, second space for salvage kit, and third space for any keys/lockpicks. the rest is empty
belt pouch : empty
bag 1 : empty
bag 3 : alternate weapons and any armour sets that aren't in storage.

I keep 5 storage characters for inscriptions & upgrades & spare weapons as there's just not enough storage space.

Inventory:
Backpack - My most frequently used weapons, salvage/ID kits, keys, cons, and my Mini Mallyx
Belt Pouch - 4 pieces of my 15k armor, with a mini Aatxe in the first slot so that I can't accidentally sell them
Bag 1 - Free storage
Bag 2 - My Asuran Tinted Spectacles, Bandanna, other set of 15k armor, and a mini Siege Turtle in the first slot so I can't accidentally sell it. The 5th piece of my second 15k armor is in here.

Storage:
Tab 1 - All the stuff that I might need to switch between characters - usually random junk that I'll probably get rid of in a couple weeks.
Tab 2 - My "stuff for sale" tab. I store all the stuff that I'm selling on guru, or want to sell, in there. Are you thinking what I'm thinking?

Tab 3 - My collectibles. Such as holiday items, the assload of creme brulees our dear Zaishen friends gave me... and my collection of Margonite Masks.
Tab 4 - A lot of really horrible items I have just for keepsakes. Such include my Warrior's starter hammer and a couple nonmax bows I customized for my ele.

Packs - Aside from a Salvage kit and ID kit, nothing besides my weapon sets. Belt pouch carries the opposite set of armor for my monk. I.E, if I'm set to RC/SoD/ZB, I wear my Kurz , if I'm set to WoH/LoD, I wear my FoW.

Tab 2: PVE quest rewards like Commendations, and a few DoA gems. when I transfer items across characters, they often go to this tab.
Tab 3: Mods, consumables from quests and festivals before I use them, Pieces of the GWEN/snowman map, weapons I want to sell.
Tab 4: Pre-searing/gwen/ascalon related items tab. also a bit of zehtuka, but I only have his jug and the horn from GWEN. For gwen I had 250 iris flowers (all from pre, before GWEN came out), 2 preserved irises, broken flute, gwen's broken flute, flute (+1 energy!!!), Gwen's flute (the green item), Tapestry Shred, Tattered Girl's Cape (discontinued drop from kryta

), Little Girl's Cape. And then Mini charr, mini titan, and mini rurik. I want a mini gwen, but I'm too poor.
